The wildlife and natural wonders of Australia did not disappoint.

One of the biggest highlights of our trip was seeing the little penguins at the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island. Unfortunately, no photography was allowed the day of our visit but we were able to see hundreds of penguins march up from the beach to their nest in the sand dunes. They paraded right next to the park’s boardwalk which brought them into view as close as an arm’s length away! And down at the beach-front stadium arena viewing area, we could watch them exiting the water and waddle their way up the beach. We were all pretty cold being on the beach after sunset but full of adrenaline from the excitement.
